Food for thought, my friends...

With the recent Supreme Court ruling (or non-ruling) about the Defense of Marriage Act, I have been reading posts and giving it some thought.  When it comes down to the nitty-gritty,"Nothing has changed, our task is still Matt 28:18-20"¹⁸And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. ¹⁹Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, ²⁰teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Thus it is very simple,  That scripture is what we should focus upon.  No need worrying about other things.  Jesus has given us this "Great Commandment".  Nothing else matters. Secular actions will come and go.  They may or may not coincide with the "Scriptures". But Jesus' command to us is very plain.
